Although we only had 24h in the park, we saw it all: lions (even 2 weddings), a leopard, zebras, giraffes, ostriches, and above all, a gazillion elephants. We were even surrounded by elephants once when a big elephant family crossed the road. Just wonderful.

Some highlights were we got up close and personal with a Momma Cheetah and her cubs dining on a gazelle, 5 lions resting in the shade, a momma giraffe with her newborn, and a magnificent spotted leopard! All our hotel/tent camps and food were first class and we felt so safe and well taken care of. Archie was so informative and patient with all of our questions, "People in pajamas?" were the hippopotamus! We just told him what our budget was and which parks we would like to see. With this information he planned out an amazing safari trip. We didn’t have to worry about anything, because everything was arranged for us: the transport, the entrance in the parks, the accommodation and the food, the information about the parks and the animals,… Dan was so friendly and helpful without being intrusive. My boyfriend and I always felt safe with him. He also knew a lot about the animals and gave the needed information. But he also gave us the time to enjoy the beauty of the nature and the wild life by ourselves. We stayed in the most beautiful lodges (all chosen by Dan) and had the most delicious food. Dan made sure we had the most wonderful time. My boyfriend and I had one quote at the end of the trip: “Dan is the man, if he can’t to do it, no one can.” Thank you for the beautiful experience! We were the only van of the day to get a close up look at the Cheetah. It was simply amazing! If you get a chance to take a nighttime safari, do it, it's worth the extra charge. I highly recommend this company.

We had such a fantastic time with him we booked a separate one day additional safari - closer to the hotel and would highly recommend booking your safari with him. We plan to return to Kenya in 2016 and will be booking Archie again for our trip.
