Diani Beach - Wasini Island

You will be picked up early in the morning at 7:15 am, from your Hotel and driven through the Mombasa Lunga - lunga road to Shimoni. On the way you will see villages, and learn a lot of trees e.g. the mango trees banana trees coconut trees and many others. You will also be amazed by the nice landscape.
On arrival at Shimoni, you will pay your Marine park fee then board an Arabic Dhow which will cruise you to kisite Marine Park. But on the way the Captain and his crues, they will pull up their socks to see that you find the Dolphins. If you don’t find them on the way, do not worry Dolphins can also be spotted at the snorkeling area and have a swim with them. Harm back and Whale sharks can also be spottedduring the month of
When you reach at Kisite Marine Park, you will get ready to do your snorkeling or diving. You will be amazed to see millions of colorful fishes, turtles among other see creatures and the untouched coral garden under water. After snorkeling you will have coffee and fruits served in the Dhow. Then you can have a walk at the sand bank or sunny yourself. Note this depends on the tides.
Later you will board again your Dhow which will take you to Wasini Island for appetizing sea food lunch. Which is crabs, fish cocked in heavy coconut sauce, sea weeds, and rice, potatoes, chapatti, pilipili sauce and a desert will be followed.
After lunch, you will have a village walk and see how people are living and a story will be told about this island which was dominated by Arabs many years back during the slave trade. Then you will visit the Coral Garden which was abandoned by water many years a go. You will also see and learn different types of mangroves.
Later you will board Again your Arabic Dhow to take you to Shimoni jet to catch your bus and drive back and arrive to your hotel at the evening.
